Australia’s finest upcoming DJ – Filter Bear

We were lucky enough to be introduced to this exceptional talent only one week ago and it’s not the last time you’ll hear us raving on about him.

Going by the name of Filter Bear this Sydney based artist does minimal tech/house beats to perfection. He has described in his own words “As long as the music has melody and soul everything else is kind of secondary”. The tunes are super groovy sure, but it’s the element that reaches deep right into your musical cranium that will have you uncontrollably bobbing away in your own little world. Trust us press play on his mixes or delve into his limited online production and you’ll see this lad is all upon finesse.

We’re sure we’ve only clipped the leading edge of Filter Bear’s ability and what we can gather, we know he’s drawing influences from the best of the best.

A super exciting 2015 is ahead for this young lad with his Four track EP named Butter set to drop at the start of next month (2nd Feb) through UK Tech House label Arch44 Music.
