Single review: Leisure Suite, ‘Ease Away’

Leisure Suite have just released single Ease Away, from their forthcoming debut EP. It’s a sultry, silky smooth track that just makes you want more.

There’s something so gorgeous, so liquid to the down-tempo bordering-on-trip-hop vibe here. Tiny, echoey beats sound as though they’re dripping drains, while Bridgette Le’s subtle yet commanding vocals are so fluid and so soulful.

While the track maintains it’s restrained minimalism, there’s a lot going on here. Little licks and loops intertwine with the main melody, adding little splashes of colour and embellishment to the dreamy tune.

Mastered by Andrei Eremin (Chet Faker, Rat & Co), you’re in for something really beautiful. Leisure Suite are definitely worth keeping an eye on.
