Rave of Thrones ft. DJ HODOR is a thing, and it’s happening in Australia

Game of Thrones is over for the year. I’m still sad about this, crying every Monday night about the lack of blood, gore, dragons and nudity on my TV screen. You might be feeling the same way. We’ve got a long year to go until Season 5 comes out, folks.

Never fear, though: we’ve got something else to look forward to in the meantime:

RAVE OF THRONES.

Yes, that’s right. Rave of Thrones.

It’s a rave. A Game of Thrones themed rave. (well, kind of)

And the DJ is none other than your favourite dimwitted Starkian, HODOR (aka Kristian Nairn.) Get down, get deeper and down, with the most epic House of them all: house music.

Nairn DJs under the apt moniker DJ HODOR and has already gained a pretty huge following in his native Northern Ireland. And luckily for us, he’s bringing a special GoT-themed night to Australia.

For one night only in each capital of House Abbott, venues will be transformed into the finest halls in all of Westeros. Attendees are also encouraged to dress up, meaning that this event is going to become an awesomely fantasy-laden Cosplay rave. And let’s be honest: this fact alone makes this event worth attending. There will also be a very special GoT-inspired visual element to the night, and a “range of special guests and garnishings.”

This is sure to be a gathering of the ages – and unlike gatherings of this kind in the real Westeros, we can pretty much guarantee that you, and everyone you’ve ever known and loved, won’t be beheaded, poisoned, stabbed, eaten by dragons or brutally murdered in any other way.
