Artist Of The Week: Dustin Tebbutt

It’s not hard to choose an artist of the week when it’s the likes of Dustin Tebbutt on the radar.

We got introduced to him a few months back and from the moment we’d first heard his work, we were hooked.

The Breach EP which was released in October last year and is an incredible piece of work with the opening EP titled track, ‘The Breach’ engulfing all sorts of emotion and passion. The rhythmic guitar strumming and atmospheric vocals throughout the entire EP will have shivers running down your spine in no time. It’s clear that the songs have been written with an influence from the northern hemisphere snowfields of Sweden, where the record was probably penned whilst he was two years abroad.

A sound that first comes to mind for Dustin Tebbutt is a fusion between Justin Vernon and Lord Huron, with a touch of Ben Howard. These sound similarities are only a massive up for him and from all reviews read, you can be rest assured that he’s cutting his own tracks in the field on the live front.

He’s seriously set for a huge 2014.
