Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas has released the second single from his upcoming EP Phrazes for the Young.

The song entitled ‘River of Breaklights’ is a frenzy of sound and comes as a much darker installment than the poppy synths of 11th Dimension.

It seems ironic that with a quarter of the product in hand Casablancas still leaves no clue as to what the rest of the EP will have in store.

Phrazes of the Young will be released October 30 in Australia.
